Yesterday marked my 2nd Mother's Day with Lucy and my 1st with Piper and it was a beautiful sunny day! I am so thankful for those 2 little munchkins in my life. What a blessing it is to be their Mom.
The day traditionally started with breakfast in bed (thank you, Shawn) and a beautiful letter written by Shawn and my two sweeties. The words were priceless and cherished. Then Shawn presented me with a frame that he made by himself! He chose the pictures to put in it, he painted it, and he put the decals on it as well. It was so heartfelt and made me feel like a million bucks!
Church was all about honoring our Mother's and loving them, and that made my heart smile.
It was a nice day spent in the sun with the 2 little darlings that made me a Mom. I am so utterly thankful for them. I hope they know just how thankful I am, and that I would do ANYTHING for them- in a heartbeat.
I hope my beautiful, compassionate Mom, my tender-hearted Mother-in-law, my sweet but silly Nana Raine, my generous and perfect angel Nana Smidt, and my dear, loving Sisters know how much I love and respect them as well and hope you all had a fabulous day. I admire each one of you each and everyday and love you as big as the beach! Happy Mother's Day!
