Fall Break 2018

I guess we have decided that Fall Break is going to be spent camping each year.... We did it last year and we did it again this year.  Camping in October in Oklahoma is so nice! Cold nights spent by the fire, warm sunshiny days where it's not too hot to enjoy yourself..... We love camping! (Even though Sully doesn't like to sleep ANYWHERE except his own bed.... Grrrr!)

The best part about the last 3 days was that we had 🚫ZERO🚫 cell service🙌🏼. Got to spend Fall Break on a beautiful lake: went fishing. Caught the tiniest frogs I’ve ever seen and the biggest caterpillars I’ve ever seen. Roasted marshmallows and starbursts. Watched the thick fog roll in on the lake each night. Watched breathtaking sunsets. Had the best time unplugging. 🏕Just wish it never had to end! 🌅#thesmellofcampfireisthebest #untilyougethome #thenitstinks

I forgot to pack all of our board games! So Shawn and I took turns one night playing old school "Snake" and reminisced about the good old days (AKA the 90's).

Shawn made the best "Campfire Nacho's" ever!

The kids never complained even ONCE the entire time! They played all day and even when it got cold at night they just bundled up without whining.  It was perfect.  No screens? No Problem! We all had so much fun!

Do you see that big green thing in Piper's hand? That's the biggest, fattest, most disgusting caterpillar I have EVER seen. 

Lucy made sure to pack her doll's camping gear too! They roasted marshmallows with us, haha!!!

That tiny little frog got stuck in Piper's hair! It was so cute! There were so many of them!

But before we left to go Camping, we had to bake some Halloween Cookies- another Fall Break tradition :)

Sully was a mess! This was the first time he's ever helped me bake and his favorite part was putting the flour ALLLLLL over the counters, hahaha!

Now it's back to school for the kids and back to "life" for me! Happy October, friends!
