Well, we've been in Boise for 9 days now! Wow, that went by fast. We spent Nana Raine's 71st birthday at the lake. She still water skis! Can you believe it? I am glad I was able to celebrate her birthday with her. What an awesome lady she is :) Shawn and I went tubing that day too, and Pops Ralph showed us no mercy! My biceps were sore for 3 days!
The girls are getting settled here and Shawn has been networking like crazy and applying, applying, applying....Every day we pray, cross our fingers, and pray some more. It's hard not to get discouraged, but we're trying to keep our chins up.
Here are some pictures, mostly from the lake, but also some from Shawn and me visiting "our" Gazebo in Eagle where he proposed to me 4 years ago, and me, Ninny, Shawn and the Howards visiting Apen Leaf Frozen Yogurt. All you can eat....we took advantage and went a little crazy- it was all we could eat and then some! And it was the perfect Summer treat.
It's currently 107 degrees outside (I'm really not exaggerating-it's nuts!) so I'm inside with the girlies enjoying the AC. Yesterday it was just as hot out and we went and stopped by a nice, cool pool and swam for a bit with Tiffy and her kiddos! Yesterday was her birthday! Even though Lucy was pretty cranky at the pool, I am SO glad I got to hug Tiff and wish her a Happy Birthday. She's just the greatest gal ever. I know all my blog readers who have met her agree :) LOVE YOU TIFF!

Thanks for liking it. :) Have you guys tried looking in the Phoenix area for jobs?? It's blazing hot here right now, BUT! It's perfect from Oct-April. Unless you like snow and freezing… :). Just saying, it;d be fun to have you out.
