We've had the craziest 11 months. Ever.
But I am so glad we've made it this far and that Piper is our healthy, happy, tender-hearted Angel. She's not walking (and not even close) but she's finally mastered the art of pulling herself up to stand all the time. On all furniture. Everywhere we go.....germs seem so scary when you have active, curious babies. Plus, she's one
She's turning into quite the ham. Loves to fake smile (and we call her our Chris Farley baby because when she gives you her fake ginormous smile, her cheeks are so big and squishy that they force her eyes closed and she somehow makes her neck disappear all at once. Looking very much like a small version of Mr. Farley. I love it.).
She's so fat that even though these pants are size 12-18 months, we can't button them in the front, so they fall down when she crawls. HAHAHA! Don't get me wrong though- her fatness is my favorite thing ever!
She loves to wave at people and squeal at people. Her and Lucy have been doing this back and forth screaming game. Daily. It's loud. But come on, watching a who-can-scream-the-loudest game between two rascals is really cute. And really hilarious. She's into everything. I think her curiosity is even worse than Lucy's was. And I thought SHE was bad. Aye, Aye, Aye!
She's adorable and smart and funny all rolled up into one sweet, chunky baby girl.
I LOVE this age. It's the best!
I love you SO much Sweet P.
(And can I also mention that while I don't miss being pregnant at all, I DO miss the Colorado weather we had at this time last year. We were swimming over the Thanksgiving weekend because it was in the 70's. Here it's been foggy, gray, and cold. Very cold. However, it reminds me of the weather in the Twilight Series so it's kinda cool...all that fog :) )
Lucy's bossiness is through the roof these days. All day long she's shouting at everyone to "COME HERE!" or "GET OUTTA HERE!" or "NO! I'LL DO IT!" It's one of those things you just have to laugh at. She's so spunky, it kills me. I love watching her and Pi wrestle, tickle each other, hug each other, etc. And recently, they play "house" together (Piper doesn't understand that she's playing house, but you can be sure Lucy is the "Mom" and telling Piper when to breathe, most likely.)
I'm so thankful for these 2 cuties. They bring us soooo much laughter.
Mommy loves you 2 ladies more than ALL the leaves on ALL the trees! :)
Hey, in Lucy's mind, it's only fair that SHE should get to wear the cool sticker on her shirt too! |
What's cuter than 2 little ladies in fur vests? NOTHING. |
I have MAJOR Bragging rights. Cause, just look at these 2! |
While I'm at it, I'll mention that Shawn and I were able to go out on a date! It was WONDERFUL and we had delicious Sushi- it's been too long since we were able to go out to dinner together at an adult restaurant!! We took advantage of dressing up (and by that I mean I wore heels and didn't have baby food splattered on me) and set our camera up to capture this rare occasion. I love that husband of mine :) |
Once again, Happy 11 Months Sweetie Pi!
