Trick-or-Treat!

Daddy was a Mercanary.  Piper was a cupcake.  Lucy was a bumblebee, and Mommy was a lady bug!
Lucy, you are one cute trick-or-treater! Welcome to a world of candy, my dear! Last night was your first night going door-to-door and it was adorable.  You, with your super curly hair and cute ruffly bumblebee outfit, marched right up to houses, knocked on the doors and when people opened their doors to you, you walked right inside their houses!  You were not scared of strangers at all (except the one man in a scary wolf mask that you saw; that really freaked you out!) and was in awe of the night.  You hardly said "trick-or-treat" like we had practiced over and over (except the one time you whispered it and the other time you said "I wanna treat!), but you knew that you would get candy by knocking on doors.  Too many times I had to pull you back before you got comfy on some stranger's couch, but you did so good and everyone LOVED you!  You even had strangers taking your picture for how cute you were!  Good job little bumble bee!

Piper- you celebrated your first Halloween last night, along with tasting your first sucker! You were one scrumptious cupcake.  You looked uber-cute and I wanted to eat you up!  I love you my sweet girl.  Next year you will be at Lucy's side knocking on doors with your Halloween bucket held out in front of you to collect your treats!  This year you stayed in your stroller, but that didn't stop you from waving goodbye to all the nice people who ogled you from their front doors :)

I love my two little goblins!

(Except when Lucy slams her door on my face and loudly tells me to "GO AWAY MOMMY!" Yes, I switched out doorknobs yesterday so that she couldn't lock me out of her room for over an hour anymore. It was all forgiven at the end of the night though, when I saw her beautiful curls and beautiful face all gussied up for Halloween.  Amazing how fast my heart melts looking at my two sweetie pies!)

Here are pics from the Halloween season!  Pumpkin Patch, painting pumpkins, and trick-or-treating!

Real quick, I wanted to add some pictures that are important too! Lucy went to the eye doctor and LOVED it! I was a little concerned because she has a habit of coloring and watching things just mere inches from her eyes.  I didn't want any learning to be hindered by troubled eyesight.  So just to be on the safe side, I took her into get checked.  The doctors were SO sweet with her and she cooperated perfectly.  It was so cute!  And her eyes are perfectly healthy!  But glad I was able to get her looked at.  If only she was that well behaved at the dentist....
Yep, my eyes are strong Mom! They work together to go cross-eyed!
Also, Lucy was able to ride on Aunt Sherene's horse, Red!  She was in heaven on that horse! LOVED it.  She didn't want to get off!  After the weather gets a little warmer, she will sit on a saddle and ride around.  It was fun to see Jim and Sherene's beautiful property and meet all of their animals :)
Now off to decorate the house for Thanksgiving.  I LOVE THE HOLIDAY SEASON!  Can't wait for what's to come!

Don't forget to set your clocks back on Sunday, everyone!

Happy Halloween and HAPPY NOVEMBER!
