Happy 5th Anniversary to Us!

Today I can officially say I've been married for 5 years. (Yay for our first "Milestone" Anniversary!) 5 is kind of a small number to some, but WOW.... Our 5 years have held a LOT in them. In 5 years we've had 5 moves across 3 different states and 3 different time zones. We've had 4 different cars, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 daughters, 1 rabbit and 1 fish (only 1 of those dogs,1 of those cats and our 2 kids have made it this far). We've endured surgeries and unemployment. We've had exciting things happen and hard things happen. We've weathered MANY storms (some that most people will never have to face in their whole lives) and have come out unbelievably stronger in the end. I know this is mushy, but when you're in love you want to share it with the world (well, someday's....haha). And I am in love. Real, true love with my best friend (as cliche as that phrase is, it's actually our truth). We make each other laugh til we can't breathe, we genuinely love just hanging out together playing games or watching shows and movies at home, we still hold hands while we drive, he never comes home or leaves the house without kissing me first, we make sure every Friday night is "date night" after the kids are in bed (even if we are just at home in our own living room while they sleep above us), and we generally have a TON of fun together. It's been a bumpy ride at times....but it's been so worth it. I love that today is ours. What a special thing an anniversary is!
