Four Months and Father's Day

To say I had a great, GREAT Dad would be an understatement.  To say my husband is THE MOST AMAZING Daddy ever would be inadequate.  To say my 2 Grandpas' are the hardest working men I've ever met wouldn't even describe it.  And to say my Father in Law is one of the best wouldn't do him justice.  However, there just aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe all these Men in my life.  I love them all.  They have all shown me love, mercy and strength throughout the years and I know how blessed I am to have each one of them in my life.  Thank you, "Dad's" for being you.

To celebrate Father's Day just a little, we paused the madness and went to the river.  I know, I know.  I keep ticking off things I'll miss about New Hampshire.  But for real.  The river is something I'll miss the most because it's right across the street from my house.  This beautiful place is within walking distance.   It's gorgeous and, again, it will be sorely missed :(  We had a fun couple hours there today.  Now it's time to pack up our river shoes and finish out the week here in NH before we load up our trucks on Friday.

Wildflowers are good for the soul.

Our matching River shoes :)
His pose in this one cracks me up!
Shawn, thank you so much for being the Daddy that you are.  The girls adore you and I am so thankful that Sully has you to look up to someday.  He will hold you up as the standard against all other Dad's and I thank God that you honor your role. Happy Father's Day.
Speaking of Sully....little man turned 4 months AND cut 2 teeth!  His first tooth popped up on the day he got his 4 month shots, so he had a double whammy of pain :(  Luckily, he slept almost all day so he that he didn't have to feel too much discomfort.  His second tooth cut through today and you'd never even know it!  He has not fussed even once about his teeth coming through!  What a little sweetheart! I love that chunk with EVERY SINGLE FIBER OF MY BEING.  He's sleeping though the night.  He loooooves to splash BIG in the tub, he likes milk from nursing or a bottle.  He can switch from either source in the same feeding and not care.  He just wants milk from wherever he can get it....can you tell? ;) Haha.  He loves to laugh (not the deep belly ones quite yet), he loves to talk and babble, he loves to fake punch Daddy, he loves to feel Daddy's shaved head, and he really likes it when Mommy and Daddy come say hi to him in the morning when he wakes up and it's just us 3 for a few minutes before the crazy sister's barge in.  Oh yeah- and he really loves his glo-worm. He even sings to it! He's demanding because he always wants to be held. But I swear; he is the happiest baby.  When you hold him, there is nothing better in his little life.  Setting him down awakens the beast.  But if you give him all of your attention, he will give you all of his love.  I love you big time, Sully.
Sully Baby is a THUMB SUCKER! I can't keep it out of his mouth!

Good Bye New Hampshire House!
Next Up....Oklahoma!

Congratulations Graduate!

Lucy graduated! Happy Graduation Baby Girl!  She handled Pre-K as well as anyone could and learned so much about life, friends, and yes, curriculum too :)  Lucy went from only knowing the letter "A" to knowing ALL of her letters and being able to write them in her big, shaky handwriting :)  She learned so many things at school and came home with the cutest crafts and projects ever.  I LOVE Watermelon Seeds for all that they did for our Lucy Lu.  She is not shy, so that wasn't a factor.  But she struggled with wanting to learn anything! Thankfully, Mrs. Veinotte, Miss Lena and Miss Sondra made learning fun for her!  She would come home with so many stories and exciting tales about her days.  It was such blessing to find this school. And finally, it was super cute to watch her graduate and march down the line at her ceremony.  She is such a cutie and it made me smile BIG TIME watching her and her sweet class perform all their songs at graduation tonight. Piper absolutely can't WAIT to start preschool.  I'm sad it won't be at Watermelon Seeds, but hopefully we will find something great in Oklahoma as well.  Lots to look forward to!

They sang the cutest little dinosaur song!
They did the pledge :)
Getting her diploma
Look at Sully!!! HAHA this is the best!
Sully looked SO adorable- I couldn't even stand it!
Look at my 2 handsome men!!
Lucy's class hatched a chick! It was in an incubator for 3 weeks as they patiently waited!
And we most definitely participated in National Donut Day!
We took a break from packing and hiked on down to the beach a few days ago!  It was Sully's first time touching the water and actually feeling the sand....aaaand he didn't like it too much!  He was ok until Mama slathered the sunscreen all over.  That seemed to bother him.  Then his little tent got a wee bit hot and it was extra windy.  Lesson of the day: 3 month old's are too young for the beach so this year I wouldn't be able to take the kids down there all the time like I did last year.  The good news is, we are moving so I don't feel like I'll be missing out on the beach this Summer.  The bad new is, we are moving so I do feel like I'll be missing out on the beach this Summer.... Yes; moving to Oklahoma is all sorts of bittersweet....
This tent has held all 3 of my babies in all different parts of the United States.  Definitely worth every penny!

I think my next post might be in Oklahoma! Maybe. We have 17 days left and LOTS to do!
Good night, all!
