It Was A Spooktacular Night!

Halloween came and went and I almost don't even remember it! We had Dr. Evil and Mini Me. A Clown. A Bunny. And a Mom who didn’t dress up for the first time in years because this year I was WAY too busy. Next year though... I’ll be back!   #ThisIsHalloween #BaldCapMalfunctions #TheyStillWinTho

We came up with the idea for Shawn and Sully to be Dr. Evil and Mini Me after we heard 5 million times in the last 2 years how much Sully looks like Shawn.  People's exact words were "he's your Mini-Me!"  So of course we HAD to take advantage before Sully got any taller.  And all throughout the night everyone was laughing and saying their costume was the best of the night.  We got a ton of laughs while we were out.  The bald caps did NOT work in our favor, but everyone got the idea.  It was awesome! Lucy and Piper both dug through my bin of "vintage costumes" (AKA, costumes that Ninny made when I was a kid!) and decided they wanted to wear them!  Lucy wanted to be a clown and Piper wanted to be a bunny.  With a few cheap face accessories on Amazon, we were able to make them look pretty awesome!

 These pictures were taken before they got dressed for the night, but this was also Halloween!

And THESE pictures were taken the weekend before Halloween when we carved pumpkins, had our hot apple cider with REAL cinnamon sticks, and roasted all the delicious seeds! I love traditions!  This year, the girls carved their pumpkins all by themselves! Well, with just a little help from Shawn.  But 90% was all them. Good job girls!
