The Cutest Pumpkins in the Patch

My kids are cute. There's just no other way to put it. And the joy on their faces when we take our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch is worth more than gold! Thank you, America, for providing Pumpkin Patches across the United States so that we always get to partake, no matter where we live :)
Piper was so cute. She was picking up dirty corn kernels and bits of hay as fast as her little hands could find them on the ground to feed the sweet Camel. I just adore her. She has such a love for animals!
Even Sully fed the animals carrots. He LOVED watching them take the carrots out of his hands. So much wonder and excitement in his life these days. I live for it.
Fall Break started TODAY! Yesterday was Parent/Teacher Conferences and both of the girls are doing awesome. Piper's teacher said she is an absolute Angel; one of her best behaved kids in the whole class.  She said she hasn't had to get mad at her even once this whole year and she has shown ZERO signs of anxiety. None. That's crazy.... I'd like to know where this version of Piper goes when she's at home (I kid, I kid....sort of) ;-)
Lucy is a little behind in reading but is way ahead of the game in Math.  Is she my child?? I was the complete opposite! But then I was reminded by sweet Mrs. French that yes, she is my child, because she talks a lot....TOO much. All day, non-stop and she is "VERY descriptive," her teacher tells me with a little chuckle. She leaves NOTHING out.
So there you have it.
We're finally enjoying some cooler weather, we're doing all the Fall/Halloween things we love doing each year and we are about to have 5 days of no school which means CAMPING, baking, and sleeping in.  Just kidding. There's no sleeping in at this house. Someday though, right?!
Happy Fall, Y'all!
