"The deadliest mass shooting massacre in U.S. History."

You know what I know. You have seen the news and watched the horrendous videos captured. Your heart is probably broken like mine is. I am devastated. I think about how many "Country Music" concerts I've gone to. SO MANY.  And I always felt safe. I think about all the people at last night's concert who went to have a great night with lots of smiles and energy and fun. I think about the young children who are waking up without a Mommy or a Daddy this morning. The parents who are waking up to the loss of a son or daughter. It is absolutely gut wrenching. I am sickened by this world. I am so ANGRY at this man. I am horrified. The death toll, as of now, is 58 with over 500 injured.

I thought that President Trump gave a perfect, presidential, somber speech. Putting God and prayer first. Whether you are for or against Trump, his speech was so good. I know a lot of people right now are not agreeing with me on this- they will find any reason to berate President Trump.  But instead of being divided over this, we should join arms and pray together as a nation. Just like we did with the Houston floods and the Hurricane in Florida. We NEED to come together, once again, and prove that we are all One Nation Under God. INDIVISIBLE.

"President Donald Trump, 71, addressed the nation from the White House about the deadly Las Vegas shooting massacre at the Route 91 country festival, which claimed the lives of over 50 concertgoers, and injured over 400 others — the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. The president said that the shooting was “was an act of pure evil.” Read his remarks below:
“My fellow Americans, we are joined together today in sadness, shock, and grief. Last night a gunman opened fire at a large crowd at a country music concert in Las Vegas, NV. He brutally murdered more than 50 people and wounded hundreds more. It was an act of pure evil. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are working closely with local authorities to assist with the investigation, and they will provide updates as to how it develops.
I want to thank the LVPD and all the first responders for their courageous efforts and for helping to save the lives of so many. The speed at which they acted is miraculous and prevented further loss of life. To find the shooter so quickly after the shooting is something for which we will forever be grateful, It shows a level of true professionalism.
“Hundreds of our fellow citizens are now mourning the loss of a loved one — a parent, a child, a brother, or sister. We cannot fathom their pain, we cannot imagine their loss. To the families of the victims, we are praying for you. We are here for you, and we ask God to see you through this very dark period. To the wounded, who are now recovering in hospitals: we are praying for your full and speedy recovery, and pledge to you our support from this day forward. In memory of the fallen, I have directed that our great flag be flown at half-staff.”
Furthermore, this quote was put online this morning before the death toll rose and I think it is really well written.
"Over 50 dead and 200 injured in Las Vegas. Apparently the shooter sprayed bullets into a crowd at a country music festival. It's the worst mass shooting in history, coming not too long after the former worst mass shooting in history.
As I write this, we don't know the shooter's motivation, other than the first and most obvious motivation: he was a deeply evil man. There is no basement to human evil. It is an infinite plunge into the bowels of Hell, and there is no use being surprised at the actions of those who take the plunge. An evil man is capable of any evil. There is no limit. I'm sure this despicable monstrosity, who I shouldn't even refer to as a "man," would have killed the whole world if he could. But instead he had to settle for 50 people. And now he's standing in judgment before God, and I don't think the verdict will be very favorable to him.
I know it sounds like a cliche now to send out "thoughts and prayers" after something like this. And admittedly, it doesn't really make any sense to say you're "sending your thoughts." But sending prayers does make sense and it does have an impact. And, anyway, it's all we really can do right now. Pray. Pray for the victims and their families, that God may grant them some sort of comfort and peace. Pray for our families, that we won't be next. Pray for our country, that we may have even a moment's relief from all of this wickedness and depravity. Pray even if you can't put into words exactly what you're praying for." -Matt Walsh
Prayer is all we have right now. So please pray. Cry, grieve, mourn.....but most importantly, if you do nothing else today, PRAY.
